It is hard to believe that it has been a few years since Laguna Lang Co opened in Vietnam. In fact if the dates (detailed on my pictures) are correct then the first trip I made to site was in 2008 – start of work began in 2010 – and the golf course opened officially in 2013. At that time there were a handful of golf courses in Vietnam which is a different story today.

I spent approximately 150 days on site through the design and construction stages (I was lead golf architect on the project – working alongside Sir Nick Faldo who was actively involved in all the design and construction phases). My construction partner Mark Lawson was the on site project manager. This time on site gave me the opportunity to study the land in great detail and identify everything good about it….the golf course now highlights these wonderful features.
