This past week I was in Japan and Korea. I was participating in the the R&A organised seminars on sustainable golf renovation and maintenance.
The Japanese event was held at the recently renovated Yokohama CC and drew a record audience of 250+ people from the golf industry and media. The event was booked up within a week of it going public.
The Korean Korean event was held at the Nest hotel in Incheon and drew a crowd of nearly 150 people from the region.
I enjoyed talking at the event about subjects I am passionate about and I believe matter moving forward. My presentation will go live in the coming days (and will update on this blog post at that time). I will also be sure to post media articles as they go live.
In the meantime see this roundup of the events in golfbusinessnews: http://www.golfbusinessnews.com/news/management-topics/sustainability-in-golf-seminars-in-japan-and-korea-hailed-a-success/
Below are some pictures of the events. Note picture of the Japan event was taken by Trevor Dormer. Pictures of the Korean event were taken by James Prusa.
